V International Forum
'Dialogue of Cultures and Religions:
Terrorism and Extremism Counteraction'

The Organizing Committee has the honor to invite You to take part in the V International Antiterrorism Forum 'Dialogue of Cultures and Religions: Terrorism and Extremism Counteraction'.

The Forum is to be held in May 15-16, 2008 at the Ukrainian House, 2, Khreschatic st., Kyiv.

Forum Organizer: 'International Antiterrorism Unity', the Interataional non-government organization (NGO) with the Participatory Status of the Council of Europe activities.

The Forum is organized on support of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Partners: Kyiv City Council Department of Culture, 'Ukroboronservice' state enterprise, European University, KROK University Security Management Institute, Platform Dialogue Eurasia NGO, 'Soyuzniki' International Charity Fund, 'ZovnishExpoBusiness' Exposition Company, 'Medvin' Company.

Among the invited for the participation in the Forum are the UNO, UNESCO, and the Council of Europe experts, Heads of Diplomatic Missions, Embassies of foreign states officials, NGOs representatives, State power representatives – Members of Ukrainian Parliament, Cabinet of Ministers members, Ukrainian and foreign prominent scholars, antiterrorism activities specialists, political and public figures, representatives of different religions confessions.

The V International Antiterrorism Forum's objective is to promote the idea of the dialogue between the representatives of different cultures and religions to express our mutual profound concern of global terrorism threats.

The Plenary Meeting and 3 Sessions are held within bounds of the Forum:

• Interreligious Dialogue and Tolerance – Key Factor of Terrorism Counteraction.
• Problems of Deepening Interethnetic and Intercultural Consent in Terrorism and Extremism Counteraction.
• Role of Education and Science in Intercultural and Interreligions Dialogue.

Work Languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English – simultaneous translation.

The participants' reports are to be published in the Problems of Personal, Social, State Security' information and analyses bulletin, in the 'Society Resists Terrorism' new edition book.
