"Prospects and Organizational Premises of
Mine Action in Ukraine"

Mine issues to be discussed:

1. Bombing terrorism, contemporary situation.
2. Organization of counteraction to bombing terrorism and criminal use of explosive materials.
3. Mine action and humanitarian deactivation as an important factor of causalities prevention.
4. Utilization of outdated ammunition and mines, modern utilization technologies, problems of utilization of PFM mines, Russian and Ukrainian experience.
5. Individual protection, standards, devices and equipment for mine sweeping groups deactivating explosives and war remains.

Round Table is held according to the resolution of the UMACC-Ukraine Coordination Committee – Ukrainian Peacekeepers Organization, Child Culture and Education Center, Euro-Atlantic Information Fund in partnership with UN/UNDP, National Center of Euro Atlantic Integration of Ukraine, European Committee, NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine, Press Office of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Atlantic Council of Ukraine, Organization of War Veterans of Ukraine, Ukrainian Unity of Afghan War Veterans, Interregional Association of Veterans “Specnaz”(Special forces), International Red Cross Committee with the representatives of the State Committee of Ukraine for Veteran Affairs, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ministry of Emergency of Ukraine, Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Defence and Security Committee of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
